Creating a Safe and Secure Environment for All Students

At Hollyglen Elementary, the safety and well-being of our students are our top priorities. We have established comprehensive safety measures to ensure a secure and nurturing environment for every child.

School Safety Policies

• Emergency Procedures: Our school has robust emergency procedures in place to handle any unexpected situations swiftly and effectively. We regularly conduct drills and training to keep our staff and students prepared.
• Campus Security: Our campus is equipped with security measures, including controlled access points and surveillance systems, to monitor and maintain a safe school environment.
• Health and Safety Protocols: We follow stringent health guidelines to ensure the safety of our students and staff. This includes regular cleaning and sanitation practices and adherence to health advisories.

Safe Arrival and Dismissal

• Drop-Off Procedures: To ensure a smooth and safe start to the school day, please follow our designated drop-off zones and times. Ensure your child exits the vehicle at the designated area and walks directly into the school.
• Pick-Up Guidelines: For the safety of all students, please adhere to the pick-up procedures and follow the instructions provided by staff members. Always remain in your vehicle during pick-up times to keep the area clear and safe.
• Traffic Safety: Be mindful of traffic rules and crosswalks when dropping off or picking up your child. Please avoid using your phone or other distractions while driving on school grounds.
